In fact in the VN Battler considered this, but kept it for himself as he thought it was ridiculous. Battler at this smoothly suggests one of the first 6 corpses could have been a fake as their faces were destroyed as in the anime Battler has no problems accusing others. In the VN (and in the manga) he didn’t care about it not being a perfect closed room or not as Battler by now was already assuming the culprit had a master key that allowed him to move freely through the house and with whom he could have opened the door of the boiler room as well.Īnyway Genji’s sentence is used so the anime could have George claims that there truly is a 19th person… but then George asks Battler, who’s evidently considered an authority, if they’re sure about it. In the anime however Genji feels the need to inform us it’s not a complete closed room as, while the door on the stairs is kept closed, the one that gives on the courtyard is kept open.
Natsuhi, instead than worrying about her daughter liking a servant, is concerned about how the boiler room should have been kept closed. *sighs* The anime can’t keep one single character coherent with the VN characterization, can it? There’s no reaction whatsoever at this from Natsuhi so we’re all persuaded she’s cool with Jessica liking Kanon, as she even let Jessica go with Kanon and she’s not complaining at Battler’s question or George’s confirmation. She just wanted to go there because she likes Kanon.īattler gets it as well so then he asks Natsuhi if Jessica likes Kanon, as apparently AnimeBattler doesn’t know Natsuhi wouldn’t agree on Jessica liking a servant and George confirms this with a nod. Anyway Natsuhi informs him as if it were the most natural thing in the world that Jessica went to take care of Kanon as she said she wanted to help Nanjo… and this is logic because we know Jessica has a medicine degree… hum, no, she doesn’t have it. I guess in the end they decided to transport (shirtless) Kanon… so really, couldn’t they have done it sooner instead than starting to treat him under everyone’s eyes and then transporting him while he wasn’t wearing his shirt so it was even easier to see he wasn’t wounded? Also… is Nanjo treating Kanon with Jessica inside the room? Isn’t that unnecessary risky? Or did he let her outside, all alone, with a killer on the loose? Since the anime is changing stuffs left and right, wouldn’t it have been better if Jessica was in the parlour with the others or, even better, if everyone was just outside of the servants’ room like in the VN?īattler asks were Jessica went… which is odd because before they were all together so he should have noticed Jessica going with Nanjo and Kanon. Meaning than hum… Nanjo started taking care of Kanon in the boiler room then continued… in the servant room, I assume. … whom, according to Natsuhi is with Nanjo, taking care of Kanon as she wanted to do so, and, of course, Nanjo and Kanon. The anime has everyone in the parlour minus Nanjo, Kanon and Jessica…
